We keep emergency appointment slots available every day. When you call, we'll triage your situation over the phone and, where possible, see you the same day. We may also be able to give you advice to help manage your symptoms until we can see you.

Frequently asked questions
What should I do if a tooth is knocked out?
Keep calm. Pick up the tooth by the crown (not the root), rinse it gently with milk or saline - not water - and try to re-insert it into the socket. If you can't do that, store it in milk or inside your cheek and call us immediately. Speed is critical - the sooner we see you, the better the chance of saving the tooth.
What counts as a dental emergency?
Any situation causing significant pain, swelling, bleeding, trauma, or loss of function should be treated urgently. If you're unsure whether your situation warrants an emergency appointment, call us and we'll advise you over the phone.
What are your opening hours for emergencies?
Please call the practice directly and we will assess your situation. We keep emergency slots available each day during normal practice hours. For out-of-hours emergencies, NHS 111 can provide advice and direct you to emergency dental services.
Can you treat my child in an emergency?
Yes. We are a family practice and see children of all ages. If your child has suffered dental trauma, call us immediately - time is especially important in these situations.
Will I be charged for an emergency appointment?
Emergency appointments are charged at our standard private rates. If you are a Denplan member, your plan may cover some or all of the cost of emergency care. Please check your plan details or ask us when you call.
